Closing Out an Inspection

Inspection Admin(INSADM) permissions are required.
The Inspection Manager is a new module designed to assist your company
with raising a new inspection and carrying these out. Within this article we will be discussing the process of closing out an inspection.
1. Completing Actions
If you are issued an action from an Inspection, you should receive an email along with a new item in your To Do list.
To complete an Action:
- Select the required Action from your To Do list.
You will be taken to the Action details page.
- You can review the details provided by the Inspector in the Description field.
Additionally, you can also select Inspection or Question to view the details of the related record. - Once you have completed the required action, enter the results of the action in the Results field. You can also attach evidence via the Upload Document icon in the header bar.
- Click the Save button.
If prompted to enter a password to confirm your action, please enter your EQMS login password.
2. Closing Inspections
Once all required questions on the checklist have been answered and any raised actions have been completed you can complete and close the Inspection record.
If auto-close is enabled, the Inspection record may be closed automatically when all elements have been completed.
To close an Inspection:
- Access the Inspection Details screen.
- You will need to update the status from the Inspection Detail screen and select Completed from the drop down Status menu.
- From here, you can then click the Save icon from the details header bar.
- A pop-up title as per the image below should display, to confirm that the record has been saved successfully.
