Up-version a Risk
Audience: Risk Administrators, Risk Managers
After a risk assessment has been completed and the initial Record has been closed, you may find that you require a re-review of the risk at some point in the future. When this time arises, EQMS allows you to simply up-version an existing record by duplicating the data with a new appropriate version number.
Note: Only Approved Risks can be up-versioned
- From the Risks List select the Risk you wish to up-version
- From the Risk Details screen of your chosen risk, select the New Version icon from the header bar.
- The screen should update to reveal a New Risk screen. However, instead of the usual blank screen, you will see that the system has brought through the key details from the previous version of the risk and the version number will be updated. This includes: Details, Associated Assets, Tags, Controls and Organisational Areas associated with the risk.
- Amend any additional details as required
- Select Save to raise the new version of the Risk Record.
