Accessing and Changing Module Access
Who is this article for?Users who are responsible for administering module permissions.
System Administrator (SYSADM) permissions are required.
System Manager helps you control access to each module effectively with Group Access records. This article walks you through how to easily update these permissions.
1. Accessing Module Permissions
To access module permissions:
- Navigate to System Manager.
- Go to Security.
- Select Modules.
You will be presented with the modules list.
2. Changing Module Permissions
To change who can access a module:
- Locate the required module record.
- Select its Description.
You will be presented with the details screen.
- Load the Group Selection List screen by clicking the Load Group List icon.
You will see the Group Selection List screen. - Browse Groups by selecting a letter or using the search bar.
- Check the box of the Group(s) you want to add.
- Click the Copy To icon in the yellow section of the screen.
You need to do this after each alphabetical section. - Click Save.
You can make other small amendments to the module from this screen, like changing its Description, Short Code, and Load Priority.
