Creating and Managing Issue Sources
Who is this article for?Users who manage Source records.
Issue Administrator (ISSADM) permissions are required.
Sources, also known as Severities, are a form of Issue assessment and organisation, although can be rephrased for different purposes. You only need to select one to associate with an Issue.
1. Accessing Sources
To access Sources:
- Go to Issue Manager.
- Choose Issue Admin from the menu on the left.
- Switch to the "Sources" tab.
2. Creating Sources
To create a new Source:
- Click the New icon located to the right of the header bar.
- Give your Source a Title.
- Set a Sequence if required.
- Tick Active to make the Source selectable in other areas of the module.
- Click Save.
3. Amending Sources
To edit an existing Source:
- Select anywhere in the record row of the target Source.
- Make your changes.
- Click Save.
