Creating and Amending Products
Who is this article for?Users who manage Product records.
Issue Administrator (ISSADM)permissions are required.
Products, also referred to as Assets, can be used for grouping assets by name and description; you only need to choose one of them to associate with an Issue record.
1. Accessing Products
To access Products:
- Navigate to Issue Manager.
- Select Issue Manager.
- Choose Issue Admin from the menu on the left.
- Switch to the "Products" tab.
2. Creating Products
To add a Product record:
- Click the New icon to the right of the Products header bar.
- Give your Product a Title.
- Add a Description.
- Set a Sequence (if required).
- Tick Active to make the Product selectable in other areas of the module.
- Click the Save icon to the right of the header bar.
3. Amending Products
To edit a Product record:
- Select anywhere in the record row of the target Product.
- Apply required changes.
- Click Save.
