Configuring Audit Findings Severities
Who is this article for?Users who are responsible for managing audit findings.
Audit Administrator (AUDADM)permissions are required.
Severities enable a measure of significance to be given to Audit Findings. Severity is an attribute of Finding Type on which Findings are based. Severity is expressed in text. It must be given a numeric rating for analytical purposes.
1. Accessing Severities
To access Severities:
- Go to Audit Manager.
- Select Housekeeping.
- Choose Severities.
2. Adding Severities
To create a Severity record:
- Click the Add New Record icon located above the Title column heading.
The Severity Details area will be cleared. - Give the record a Title.
- Set a Rating to a value between 1 and 4.
- Add helpful information about the Severity to the Scope.
- Tick Active to make the Severity selectable.
- Click Save.
3. Modifying Severities
To edit a Severity record:
- Select the row of the relevant record in the left hand list.
The Severity Details screen will be populated. - Amend the details as required.
- Click the Save icon.
