Creating and Managing Configuring Auditors and Auditor Types
Who is this article for?Users who are responsible for managing audits.
Audit Administrator (AUDADM)permissions are required.
Auditors can own or be associated with Audit records to assist Audit Managers in their management role. Auditors created must already be identified users of the relevant system. Auditors have (by association) a mandatory attribute of Auditor Type for the purposes of selecting suitable Auditors.

1. Accessing Auditors
To access Auditors:
- Go to Audit Manager.
- Select Housekeeping.
- Choose Auditors.
2. Creating Auditors
To create an Auditor record:
- Select Add New Record located above the list of Auditors.
The Auditor Details area will be cleared. - Click the Select a New Auditor icon to the right of the Name field.
The User Selection list overlaid window will be displayed. The presented list will only display Users that are not members of the Audit User group.
- Filter the list to find the required user.
- Select the Username from the list to add them to the Audit record.

Telephone and Email fields will be populated from the selected User record.

Tick Lead Auditor to prioritise this Auditor when auto-assigning checklists.
- Populate the Auditor Types by clicking the Associate Auditor Type icon.
- Select the required Auditor Types by ticking the checkbox to the right of the Title.
- Click the Associate Selected Auditor Types icon.
- Supply the mandatory Date Trained using the available calendar widgets.
- Optionally complete the Where Trained fields.
- Tick Available to make the Auditor selectable as an Audit Owner or as part of an Audit Team.
- Click Save.
3. Amending Auditors
To edit an Auditor record:
- Select the row of the relevant record in the left hand list.
The Auditor Details screen will be populated with your selection.
- Amend the details as required.
- Click the Save icon located to the right of the Auditor Details header bar.
4. Accessing Audit Types
To access Audit Types:
- Go to Audit Manager.
- Select Housekeeping.
- Choose Auditor Types.
5. Creating Audit Types
To create an Auditor Type:
- Click the Add New Record icon, located above the list of Auditor Type records.
The Auditor Type Details screen will be cleared. - Enter a Title for your Type.
- Add helpful information in the Description.
- Tick Active to make the Type available for selection in an Auditor record.
- Click Save.
6. Amending Audit Types
To edit an Auditor Type:
- Select the row of the relevant record in the left hand list.
The details screen will be populated with the selected data. - Amend the details as needed.
- Click the Save icon.
