Configuring Cancellation and Rescheduling Reasons
Who is this article for?Users who manage the scheduling of training.
Training Administrator (TRGADM) permissions are required.
When Training Records are cancelled or rescheduled, trainees (or an admin on their behalf) must select a reason. Each of these reasons will be selected from a dropdown box that is defined by the Training Administrator.
1. Accessing Reasons
To access Reasons:
- Navigate to Training Manager.
- Select System Admin.
- Choose Reasons.
From the Reason Type dropdown box, select either Cancellation or Training Date Change.
This will reveal the relevant list of reasons below. The order of the Reasons can be amended using the Up and Down arrows in the sequence column.
2. Creating Reasons
To create a new Reason:
- Click the Add New icon in the Reason header bar.
This will reveal the Reason Details screen.
- Define the reason in the Text field.
- Select the appropriate Reason Type.
- Tick Comment Required to add a comment field for the trainee to complete when selecting a reason.
- Tick Active to make the Reason available for trainees to select.
- Click Save.
3. Amending Reasons
To edit an existing Reason:
- Select the required Reason from the list.
This will reveal the Reason Details screen.
- Amend the details as required.
- Click Save to confirm the changes.
