Users who assign tasks for Inspectors to complete.

Inspection Manager (INSMGR) or higherpermissions are required.

Actions are raised directly from within an Inspection. The Actions area in Inspection Manager lists all currently raised Actions along with their status, owner, target and completion dates.

1. Accessing Actions

To access the Actions List:

1. Navigate to the Inspection Manager.
2. Select Actions.

You can use any combination of the filters defined below to refine your search query.

• Status - Display Actions in a chosen status.
• Inspection Type - Display Actions associated with Inspections of a specific Type.
• Locations - Display records associated to the selected locations.
• Owner - Display records owned by the selected user.
• Issue Date From/To - Display Actions raised within the defined date range.
• Completed Date From/To - Display Actions completed within the defined date range.
• Inspection ID - Display records with matching text in the Inspection ID field.
• Inspection Title - Display records with matching text in the Inspection title.

2. Viewing Action Details

Action Details are read-only. The actual Action is located in the specified owner's To Do list.

To review the details of an Action select anywhere in its record row from the Actions list.

Below is an explanation for what you can expect to see in each field.

• Action Type - Action Type used for the specific Action.
• Title - Name given to the Action.
• Description - Instructions provided to the Actionee.
• Owner - Actionee that needs to complete the task.
• Status - Current status of the Action.
• Target Date - Specified target date for completing the Action.
• Results - Response given by an Actionee.
• Inspection ID - Identifier given to the Inspection the Action is a part of.
• Inspection Title - Name given to the Inspection the Action is a part of.
• Question - Label of the associated Question(s).

If you have been issued an Action, you should find it in your To Do List where you can complete it.
