Viewing and Managing Inspectors
Who is this article for?Users who are responsible for Inspector management.
Equipment Administrator(EQADM) permissions are required.
EQMS Users must be associated with Equipment Manager as an Inspector if they are to be tasked with carrying out any Inspections, Calibration or Service Checks.
Each Inspector can be associated with multiple Inspector Types but, it is also important to note that they must be a member of the EQMS System Group EQINS – Local Inspector to appear in the Inspector list. This article will show you how to manage this role.
1. Accessing Inspectors
To access Inspectors:
- Navigate to Equipment Manager.
- Select Administration.
- Switch to the "Inspectors" tab.
This will reveal the Inspector List.
If the search fields are not displayed, click the Expand icon below the header bar to expand the filters.
2. Administering Inspectors
To administer an Inspector record, select an Inspector from the list.
This will reveal the Inspector details screen, displaying information pulled from their user record.
To associate additional Inspector Types:
- Click the Search icon.
This will reveal an overlay window.
- Check the box for any additional Inspector Types you would like to associate.
- Click the Link icon to associate the Inspector Types with the chosen Inspector.
To remove any associated Inspector Types, click the Delete icon in the relevant row.
