Creating and Managing Trainers
Who is this article for?Users responsible for Training records.
Training Administrators (TRGADM)permissions are required.
Optionally, Trainers can be assigned to each Training record allowing you to keep track of the specific Trainers from a Provider, their contact details and the feedback received from their courses.
1. Accessing Trainers
To access Trainers:
- Navigate to Training Manager.
- Select System Admin.
- Choose Trainers.
The screen is paginated and records are viewed by selecting the page numbers to the bottom left of the list screen.
The list can be filtered by First Name or Surname, based on a string of characters and a check box for inclusion of inactive records.
Select the Search icon to display your filtered list. The list can be sorted by column.
2. Creating Trainers
To create a Trainer record:
- Click the New Trainer icon located to the right in the Trainers List header bar.
- Enter a Firstname and Surname.
- Add a Telephone number.
- Provide an Email address.
- Tick Active to make the Trainer available for selection across the module.
- Click Save.
Once saved, Trainer records can be associated with Training Providers.
3. Adding Trainers to Providers
To associate a Trainer with a Provider:
- Choose a Trainer by selecting anywhere in the record row.
- Select a Training Provider from the dropdown.
- Click the Add Training Provider icon.
4. Amending Trainers
To edit a Trainer:
- Choose a Trainer by selecting anywhere in the record row.
- Amend any of the non-greyed out fields
- Click the Save icon located to the right of the header bar.
